I am grateful for a new wonderful way to meditate in the morning. Stop, control your breathing to settle the mind. Then, picture someone you love. Once you have their face firmly in mind, wish them the following:
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you be peaceful.
May you know that you are loved.
Then, expand that out to your family, your close friends and co-workers. Then, finally, wish the same for yourself.
That is the amazing part. Wishing the same for yourself. We are quick to give blessings and well wishes to those around us, but what about us? Put your mask on first, and make sure you are happy, healthy, peaceful, and know that you are loved.
