impact
I am grateful for the willingness to put up my hand, and say yes, I will do that. Yes, I will step forward. Yes, pick me.
Then to follow through and deliver on that. That is the key.
Then you build a reputation for delivery. For shipping. For moving things forward.
Then you become dependable.
Then you become key.
Then you become indispensable.
Then, you make your own luck and get rewarded for it like you won the lottery. Speaking to others. Adding value. Getting the word out.
These are all keys to developing and delivering on your own brand. Who do you serve? Who needs what you have? How do you package and deliver it in a way that will add value to them, and they will pay you for it?
Do you have to give a bit away for free? Sure. You have to give them a taste of the value you’re going to deliver.
Do you have to put in the work in anticipation of future returns? Absolutely.
Will you get taken advantage of a few times? Yes.
Will you be wasting your time sometimes? Yes.
Will it be worth it if you are disciplined, deliver with consistency, and continue to innovate? Yes.
It will all be worth it in the end when you are in front of the right people who need what you have. Who are looking for what you do. Who have a problem you can solve. And when you use your experience, your training, your knowledge to give them what they need, you make an impact.
You change the world.
You make the difference that no one else can make, because they are not you. You are you and you should never hold back on what you can deliver.
Always over-deliver, and before you know it, everything will come back to you 10-fold.
