Inspirational Leadership
Leadership is pretty amazing.
Today’s leaders are people who study leadership, and put it into practice. People who spend the time discovering what works, why it works, and how to emulate the great leaders who came before us and apply their methodology to today’s reality.
Like any other muscle, the muscle of leadership needs to be stretched, flexed, and built up over time.
Some great leaders are made. Some great leaders are created. Most great leaders have great causes. They have great challenges.
Great leaders are inspired, and are therefore inspirational.
When someone has a great cause or a great challenge, and are inspired to act and change the world, others will follow.
When someone realizes they need the help of others, because they can’t change the world alone, they become a leader. They recruit those who recognize the need, and agree with the mission.
They form a tribe to combat or overcome, and they take on the vision as their own. This group vision, that resonates with each person, then becomes embodied in themselves, and when people start to say ‘I am a part of this’ and they can clearly answer why, then that leadership has transcended into more than just that initial person’s vision.
It has become a movement for change.
This is what leaders do. And that, is amazing.
