A few things I’ve learned the hard way you might find useful.

dot connector

I am grateful for the dots being connected, again.  Alex Hormozi has so much to teach, so much to give, and such an interesting way to teach and give, that I am officially a student.  I am over the fact he’s 15 years younger than I am, and 15 light-years ahead of me, because I know exactly why he is that way.
  1. He spends 6 hours a day, every day, working on business.
  2. He builds on what he’s done in the past, and changes his behavior to correct based on testing and mistakes
  3. He does stuff.  He actually takes action, rather than just thinking or talking about it.
  4. He identifies the next problem accurately, and works to solve it.
  5. He is good at identifying constraints, and working with tremendous focus on solving that constraint at the exclusion of all else.
  6. He understands that the game is the goal, the work is the goal, and how to measure his output.
  7. He uses data to make decisions.
  8. He pays people ahead of him whatever they ask, to give him the piece of knowledge he needs to break through that constraint, or solve that problem quickly, so he gets ahead faster.  Technically buying time.  He pays to save himself the years of trial and error, which pays for itself.
  9. He understands leverage.  Leverage of people, leverage of time, leverage of tech to solve his problem.
  10. He uses frameworks to simplify complex issues, and to keep things on track.  They are as simple as they can be, while retaining the core path.
  11. He defines words to be more useful.  Breaking them down into their core ‘doing’ elements.
  12. He evaluates his success by how useful he is, and the work he is doing is.
  13. He understands value, the components of value, and how to maximize value for his clients.
  14. He doesn’t give a crap about what other people think.
  15. He is very conscious of his brand, because he’s learned from the best.  Therefore he is easily identifiable.
  16. He truly understands the value of his time.
There is more.  And I’m excited, and grateful, to learn it.
