the crazy ones

I am grateful for the crazy ones.  The ones who think they can change the world, and do.  Because those people are no smarter than me or you.  They are focused.  They are determined.

They keep going and despite, or because, of the resistance they feel, they push even harder against the norm.

They are the outliers.

The ones who throw off the bell curve.

The ones who you can disagree with, or love, but above all, you can’t ignore.

They stand up when everyone else is down.  They move forward despite not knowing where the path will take them.

They lead, and others eventually follow after they realize that standing still, will literally get you nowhere.

These people are the nails that get hammered, the best of us, and the worst of us.

You can try to grind them down into nothing, but the one thing you can’t do, is ignore them.
